Hybrid Implant dentures: Case 4
Description
This lady presented with a terminal dentition. She had a lot of decay and periodontal disease that required all of her teeth to be removed. She wanted to have implants placed and have a restoration that would be easy for her take in and out on her own. All of her teeth were removed and implants were placed. She has dentures that attach to the implants with a system called "Conus". This is a very secure removable option for the patient. The benefits of this type of restoration the implants are that it is less expensive then the fixed hybrid dentures or porcelain work and they can be removed by the patient for home care. Some of the other restorative hybrids are only removable by the dentist as they are screwed into the implant abutments holding the restoration on top of the implants
