So a veneer is a personal placing that will go on the front of the tooth. The reason a veneer may be placed is if somebody has short teeth from grinding or if they're really chipped, or maybe they've had some bonding because they had some decay in between the teeth and they've got multiple different colors going on in all the teeth and they want to have just a nice, harmonious, beautiful, natural-looking smile.
A veneer treatment is going to last, again, depending on the patient, how they're taking care of their teeth, what they're doing with their teeth. A veneer could fracture just like a natural tooth could fracture. So you don't want to be biting, pulling, tearing things with your front teeth. It's better not veneered versus veneer. So, again, it just depends on the patient and how their bite is and if they're taking good care of it.
